Umfundisi wase Apostol 12 KwaNyuswa, uthe njengoba kufuneka abantu abawu 50 emangcwabeni, omama kumele bayeke ukuya khona ngoba ayikho into abayenzayo.

UDuduzile Dlala uthe umuntu wesonto obalulekile kakhulu emangcwabeni Umfundisi.

 “Uma umuntu eseshonile thina njengamakholwa sifike siphelezele umphefumulo wakhe kuphela. Manje njengoba silwa nalesifo se Covid-19, ngingasho nje ukuthi uma kukhona umuntu omele ibandla njengo mfundisi, asikho isidingo sokuthi kufike amanye amakholwa.”  

UMlungisi Gasa uthe ukushona into enzima ngoba ayikhishelwa simemo futhi awukwazi ukulawula isibalo sabantu abeza emangcwabeni.

 “Siyasamukela isimemezelo sika Mongameli ngesibalo sabantu emangcwabeni, kodwa inkinga enkulu ukuthi akulula ukuxhosha abantu kumbe amakholwa uma ezokhalisa umndeni. Angeke futhi uze unake nokuthi ubabale ngoba nawe mhlampe usuke uzicabangela ngalesimo esikuvelele. Ikona lokhu okugcina sekudala ukuthi isibalo sabantu sigcine sidlule ngokweqile emangcwabeni.”

Mdunge Skhumbuzo The consulate general of India in Durban together with K CAP hosted a panel discussion on Themba Dlamuka's book titled "Playing with Love in The Lion's Cage". The event was on Friday, 20 September at Ekhaya Multi-Arts Centre to discuss teenage pregnancy, drugs, prostitution, HIV and AIDS. The panel consisted of Mr. Anish Rajan (Consul General of India in Durban), Ms. Gloria Khumalo (Indigenous knowledge Practitioner), Ms. Thanda Owalebi (The Health Practitioner) and Ms. Reshma Badal (The Community Health Activist). Spain thrashed Switzerland 3-1 to reach the Semi-Finals

Mdunge Skhumbuzo Spain has defeated Switzerland 3-1 in the penalty shoot-out to advance in the Semi-Finals. After an enthralling match that ended 1-1 at the Krestovsky stadium, Switzerland went to extra time with the one man down after Romo Freuler (a defensive midfielder) received a red card in the 77th minute. In the semi-finals, Spain will face Italy, which also defeated Belgium to advance in the next round.  The Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, said he still believes they are one of the favorites teams who can win the trophy. "I always said, we were one of the favorite teams who can win the trophy, but of course that is going to depend on our performance. Now, we're in the last four, and that is fantastic. It fills us with a great sense of pride." Luis said.  The Switzerland coach, Vladimir Petkovic, said the referee had 'spoiled' the match in the second half. eThekwini closed shops affects the dispossession of taxis quantum.

Mdunge Skhumbuzo The eThekwini closed shops have caused fewer people to arrive  in the city. The South African National Taxi Council (Santaco) in KwaZulu Natal has conducted a meeting on Wednesday evening to discuss a way forward to prevent their taxi quantum from being dispossessed. eThekwini shops were looted by enraged protesters following the arrest of Jacob Zuma that took place on 07 July 2021. Santaco Office manager, Sfiso Shangase, said the taxi commuters are like bosses to them.  "We are hugely affected ... Those who work in the looted shops are like bosses to us. The customers who buy in these looted shops are like bosses to us. So, that means, if I was waking up five taxis a day, now because of this situation, we end up waking one or two taxis a day." Sfiso said.  The other issue discussed in the meeting involved approaching the car dealerships to reduce their interest rates.    "It's hard to cover our installment.
