Kwanyuswa Councilor Injured in A Car Accident.

The KwaNyuswa councilor, Mthetheleli Sbisi has been injured in a car accident. The accident occurred on Sunday evening in Waterfall.

The spokesperson, Bongani Mthombeni said the councilor has suffered minor injuries.

" I was shocked when the news came to me. On Sunday evening I got a call that both our councilor and the ward-committee (Lindani Dlamini) were injured in a car accident," Mthombeni said. 

Both the counselor and ward-committee were submitted to Hillcrest private hospital. Mthombeni said, while driving in Waterfall, the car rolled out of the road and crashed the entire body.


" if anything happens to the councilor it affects the entire community. Mthetheleli Sbisi is doing a tremendous job to provide service delivery," Mthombeni said. On social media, community members have shown their support to wish a speedy recovery.


On Facebook, Sakhile Mkhize posted, " I'll like to wish a speedy recovery to our councilor. he served our community diligently and I'll like to applaud him for that". Bongani Mbatha said, " Mthetheleli is loved by everyone because when you go to him, he assists timeously". More wishes were also directed to Lindani Dlamini, the ward-committee. 

Mthombeni said, "the doctors have promised to discharge both patients on Tuesday evening. They said they're no parts of the body which were damaged. Both patients have survived because there were wearing a seat-belt". Mthetheleli Sbisi has served one term since the local election of 2017.

Spain thrashed Switzerland 3-1 to reach the Semi-Finals

Mdunge Skhumbuzo Spain has defeated Switzerland 3-1 in the penalty shoot-out to advance in the Semi-Finals. After an enthralling match that ended 1-1 at the Krestovsky stadium, Switzerland went to extra time with the one man down after Romo Freuler (a defensive midfielder) received a red card in the 77th minute. In the semi-finals, Spain will face Italy, which also defeated Belgium to advance in the next round.  The Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, said he still believes they are one of the favorites teams who can win the trophy. "I always said, we were one of the favorite teams who can win the trophy, but of course that is going to depend on our performance. Now, we're in the last four, and that is fantastic. SAFA announced its new ethics committee and integrity office.

Mdunge Skhumbuzo SAFA has announced its new Ethical Committee and integrity office and on Wednesday, 30 June 2021. SAFA President, Danny Jordaan, said the ethical committee and integrity office would help to strengthen the governance of SAFA.  " If the South African football is organized, in the context of CAF and  FIFA.
