Switzerland eliminated France to reach the Euro Quarterfinals.

Switzerland has eliminated France in the penalty shoot-out 'that partook following a draw of 3-3 after 90 minutes.

Before this game, Switzerland has never progressed to the last 8 of the Euro tournaments after entering 5-times starting from 1996. While on the other side, France was 'eliminated' for the first time in the last-16.

In the quarterfinals, Switzerland will face Spain, who in their last-16 has defeated Croatia 5-3 after extra time.

The Switzerland coach, Vladimir Petkovic, said he felt very emotional after the game. 

"Well, I was not able to speak toward the end of the match ... I was done I lost my voice. The team over 120 minutes has done a fantastic job. We manage our game plan, we had enough fuel in the tank, even more than France, and we show that over 120 minutes." Vladimir said. 

The goals of Switzerland were scored' by Seferovic (who had a brace) and Gavranovic, who equalled 3-2 on the 90th minutes to take a game into extra time. 

From France, Karim Benzema has converted a brace that was' added up by Paul Pogba, who unleashed a brilliant kick from outside the box.

France coach, Didier Deschamps, said he is not angry with Kearyn Mbappe, who did not show his best performance against Switzerland. 

"Well, Kearyn, if he didn't score a goal, he was decisive in many actions that we have. No one is angry with him, I talked with our players, and we know the strength of this squad. We had a lot of magnificent moments today. It hurt but, we have to accept it." Didier said

Spain thrashed Switzerland 3-1 to reach the Semi-Finals

Mdunge Skhumbuzo Spain has defeated Switzerland 3-1 in the penalty shoot-out to advance in the Semi-Finals. After an enthralling match that ended 1-1 at the Krestovsky stadium, Switzerland went to extra time with the one man down after Romo Freuler (a defensive midfielder) received a red card in the 77th minute. In the semi-finals, Spain will face Italy, which also defeated Belgium to advance in the next round.  The Spanish coach, Luis Enrique, said he still believes they are one of the favorites teams who can win the trophy. "I always said, we were one of the favorite teams who can win the trophy, but of course that is going to depend on our performance. Now, we're in the last four, and that is fantastic. SAFA announced its new ethics committee and integrity office.

Mdunge Skhumbuzo SAFA has announced its new Ethical Committee and integrity office and on Wednesday, 30 June 2021. SAFA President, Danny Jordaan, said the ethical committee and integrity office would help to strengthen the governance of SAFA.  " If the South African football is organized, in the context of CAF and  FIFA.
